Cloud Car Repair Planner Service to Manage Service Stations

The authorized FordCentrum service has optimized the workload of body repair men and painters. The Car Repair Planner, a service delivered by Millennium, operated in the Cloud solutions of Windows Azure, centrally plans the on-going daily workload and makes it available to workers..
Body repair men and painters have the possibility to navigate through large screens placed in the workshop. Immediately after completion of contract work, they know what car and what action will follow. Based on the work sequence, the workers can agree on their mutual coordination and transfer of vehicles. The foreman is not required to interfere with these activities and the actual service works will be carried out smoothly and in a coordinated way.
As the client, for all tasks is needed only a web browser. Ford does not have any unplanned costs in the IT infrastructure and pays only monthly utilization fees.
